easy avocado 🥑

Sporting events are an easy reason to fall off your path of clean healthiness. This year instead of the stacked nachos – try this easy avocado with pita chips or rye wraps. Avocado is high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fat (the “good” kind of fat) and full of fiber – a great choice nutrient dense food. Just remember, everything in moderation. I’ve eaten an entire avocado for dinner recently – and I actually crave the easy, creamy treat from time to time. Less than 5 ingredients and the perfect indulgence for any big game.

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1/4 tsp salt

What to do

Cut the avocado open and remove the seed. Scape the avocado out of the skin into a bowl. Squeeze the fresh lemon juice into the bowl and mash and mix it into the avocado. Leave it chunky or mash it up to your preference. Sprinkle on the salt and pepper, mix lightly and eat!
