Mason Jar Noodle Soup 🥄

by Thursday, March 8, 2018

Another EASY, layering recipe. And once again there is nothing to cook, just add hot water! Soup is a wonderful lunch or dinner idea in the colder months. I refuse to eat those processed “cup o noodles” in a Styrofoam cup or pay $12 for a delicious bucket of real ramen. I have a wonderful and cost-effective solution, this soup is full of bright flavors and filling – and will keep you warm on those brisk days. Layer as below.

  • 16-ounce mason jar
  • 1 TBS chicken stock concentrate
  • 2 TBS peas
  • 3 sliced mushrooms
  • 1 TBS chives
  • 1/2 cup Rice noodles
  • handful sprouts
  • 1 or 2 sprigs cilantro

*refrigerate until use.

What to do

When you’re ready to eat, fill mason jar with hot water and place the lid on. Shake well. Let it sit for about a minute. Garnish with red pepper flakes. Slurp from the mason jar or pour into a bowl!
