Simply Tabbtastic is the result of life affirmations and tangible self care. I created this Simple Meal Prep Guide to offer a balanced resource of healthy lifestyle information. I lost over 100 pounds through my own diet and exercise plan. 70 precent of that weight loss was comprised of eating differently, changing the way I thought about food and acknowledging why I frequently overate. The base of my issue was that I was never taught what healthy food was and that the preparation is just as important as the nutritional value. The surface was that eating comforted me, and full circle, it was also what caused much of my discomfort. Food simultaneously became my best friend and enemy.
Simplest put – When I changed the way I ate – the way I felt about my self changed. I thought loosing 50 pounds was impossible, I mean I was certain I’d never be able to do it. After 101 false starts, I finally lost 20 pounds… then I lost the impossible 50 … once I’d lost 70 pounds the way I thought about myself began to change. I had literally achieved the impossible with a few basic changes to my lifestyle and a bunch of determination. I can not tell you how to gain and KEEP that determination – because everyones triggers are different, but I CAN show you the consistent routines I’ve kept over the past decade to ensure my mental and physical are always aligned around a happy-healthy place.
Food is no longer my enemy, it now adds to my happiness. You can still eat, you just need to alter the “what” and “how much”. It IS as simple as that. Simply Tabbtastic is full of tasty but SIMPLE – healthy but EASY recipes, that are great on the go if prepped ahead of time. The key is to give yourself the time each week to be successful. Then give yourself time to progress while staying consistent.
