Not only is it like eating a big bowl of nothing in the fat department it’s soft, sweet and satisfying. Though honeydew is my absolute favorite melon, all members of the melon family are full of water and a great hydration aid. In season you can grab a cantaloupe for about $3 (or 2 for $5) this is a meal or snack in itself. You can also add to infused water and, (my favorite use) smoothies! When Snacking, keep it fresh and easy – Grab one, cut it up and store in airtight containers it for a snack, breakfast or lunch. Also great in the summer frozen in chunks.
