Smoothies bowls are just smoothies in a BOWL with healthy delicious toppings! Kinda like a healthy sundae. Smoothie Bowls are all the rage right now because they are gorgeous to gaze at and just as tasty. I make a smoothie daily so I figured I’d give it a go with the random stuff I found in my fridge and cabinets. This weeks breakfast smoothie was a riff on #bertasberries SO I used that as a base. Below is that recipe as well as the random goodness I topped with.
#bertasberries Smoothie
- 1 large handful of kale/baby kale mix
- 1/2 banana
- 3 strawberries
- 1/2 almond milk
- 1 Tbs Natural Peanut Butter
Bowl toppers
- 1 tbs chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tbs flax meal
- 2 crushed mint leaves
- 3 or 4 blackberries
