Easy Resolutions for 2023

It’s that time of year again! Time to start over and make a “wish List” of things you want to change or accomplish in the New Year. This can be tough without constant reflection and so you don’t know how to begin here is a place to start. Keep it simple and realistic, a little consistency will go a long way. The more you stick to the little every day tasks the easier it will become to achieve larger yearly goals and changes.

Start with:

This year I want to ….

I will do this by …

When I forget I will …

I will hold myself accountable by …

Here are a few easy ideas to get started:

  • Change careers
  • Adopt a new workout regimen
  • Start ____ project
  • Eat better
  • Save XXX amount of money (be specific)
  • Budget better
  • Find my spirituality
  • Start therapy
  • Be more direct
  • Set clear boundaries
  • Stop procrastinating
  • Be more assertive
  • Find a new friend(s)
  • Make lists for EVERYTHING
  • Practice more self care
  • Set clear fitness goals
  • Learn something new
  • Create a bedtime routine

Remember, just making a list isn’t good enough. You must keep your resolutions at the forefront of your mind. Put the list somewhere you can see it and be very clear on HOW you will achieve each life change. The hardest part will be the consistency and discipline, but these are also the most rewarding. If you want to change you life, the only way to do it, is to get to work.
