The unofficial start of the summer is here. It’s Memorial Day weekend, so bring on the white dresses, seersucker suits, and summer Fridays! My infused concoctions are a year-round love of hydration for me, but, in the summer, when hosting they REALLY begin shine. Create this quick infusing when hosting, I paired with brie, crackers, and chocolate. It’s easy because all of the ingredients are readily found in my fridge at any time. Try this gorgeous-looking infusion in a large pitcher. (don’t forget the champagne!) Also wonderful for a picnic, BBQ or any outside event.
- 1 lemon – sliced and squeezed
- 3 strawberries – washed and sliced round
- 5 basil leaves – rip leaves to release flavor and fragrance
Add ice – fill with water!
