It’s Spring! It’s finally time to clear the cobwebs and start a new. Just in case you don’t know where to start here’s a list of easy newness you can add to your schedule in the next few weeks for maximum spring potential. Out with the old and in with the new.
New Affirmations
With a new season, maybe the things that are most important to you have shifted. Reevaluate what you ask for daily. What you manifested last week is probably different from what you want to manifest next week. Think up a few new affirmations to put into the universe and to recite daily. If you need some help TABBATUDES: Actionable Affirmations is always a great place to start.
Elimination
Literally clean. Pick something you have been avoiding, like your kitchen cabinets or underwear drawer. This year I promised myself I would throw at least 1 thing away each day in march. You never know how much stuff you don’t need until you start actually looking for it.
New workout plan
We have been gifted more sun! Get out and go for a walk. Daily, add a walk or increments of more steps if you use a fitness tracker. Try a new workout class or a whole other fitness genre. Maybe try barre, a core class or even a dance class. Make the time and be intentional. Small changes over time lead to big results.
Embrace your hobbies
Get back to basics. Think about the simple things that make you happy. If it’s cooking, try cooking with a new ingredient. If its gardening plant a different flower or herb. If its reading choose a different genre than you would usually read. Doing your favorite things should be a daily habit.
Learn something new
Learning something new sounds more difficult than it really is. You could teach your self a new skill just with a little research. You could learn a new software or hardware by searching online tutorials or you could teach yourself a new recipe. This isn’t meant to be a burden its meant to enhance the assets you already have.
Plan a vacation
Life is much better when you have something to look forward to. Plan to pay yourself back with some rest and relaxation. This is also a great way to motivate yourself to eat better and to work out. You deserve a break. Plan around it. Set money aside now for your happiness later.
