Chocolate, banana AND hazelnut? Sounds like the perfect dream. I love all sorts of muffins, but banana nut variations are my most favorite to create. This recipe has all my muffin-y goodness packed into a moist loaf. Perfect for a snack, breakfast or even a dessert. Follow this recipe for a banana hazlenut dream.
What you need
- 4 large, very ripe mashed bananas
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter & Co Hazelnut spread
- 1/2 cup crushed almonds or walnuts
What to do
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
With a hand mixture, blend the butter, bananas, egg and sugar.
In a second bowl stir the flour, baking soda, powder and salt together. Next mix both sets together thoroughly. Lastly mix in the hazlenut spread and nut with a rubber spoon.
Add batter to a greased baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick or knife comes out clear from the center of the loaf.
This loaf is delicious alone or, you can make in easy powdered sugar glaze for the top.
