INFUSED – basil, strawberry, cucumber water

basil_infused_roberta_tabbConstant evolution. Evolving water by infusing with simple fruits and or vegetables is not only easy but extremely functional. People tell me all the time they just don’t like water, I personally think – it’s because water is boring and most certainly an after thought for most if left plain. Laughable to me – because I actually crave ice water, but c’est la vie. TRY this, you’ll have no excuse now.

recipe – per jar

  • Basil – 4 or 5 leaves
  • Cucumber – 4 or 5 slices (peeled)
  • Ginger Root – 1/5 inch sliced
  • Strawberries – 2 sliced
  • Water – 8 ounces

Fill with 8 ounces of water and refrigerate for a few hours (or overnight) I find that the longer the mix chills the better the taste. Remember any meal prep is the best recipes for success.
