Quick and easy post or pre-workout snacks. I needed an easier way to get my protein in besides smoothies so I whipped up these delicious filling bites to grab and go. *Just one bite goes a very long way!
- 1 1/4 cups creamy Peanut butter I used Peanut Butter & Co. Cinnamon Raisin Swirl
- 1/3 cup coconut flakes
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 c protein powder
- 1 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/8 tsp salt
Makes about 16 bites
Add all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix with a rubber spatula. Mix until all the ingredients stick together, you may have to use your hands. The perfect mixture is dry and not too sticky.
Form balls about 1.5 inches in diameter. Add the balls to a tray and refrigerate for an hour. The balls will now be hard and perfect for snacking. Store the bites in an airtight container or in zip lock bags and refrigerate until you eat.
